Swimming has always been Jan's greatest passion. As a young swimmer, he dedicates every day to perfecting his stroke. He loves the feeling of gliding effortlessly and quickly through the water and the freedom it gives him.

After retiring from professional swimming, Jan recognized numerous opportunities to pass on his knowledge and develop products that could revolutionize swimming.

The sailfish night of the year is more than an annual ceremony event – it became a celebration of triathlon culture. Since 2010, the triathlon community joins to celebrate the achievements of the year.

Patrick Lange not only becomes IRONMAN World Champion – he dominates the race. The first person to finish in under eight hours in Hawaii – and the first IRONMAN World Champion in a sailfish.

THE FASTEST OF ALL TIME
At the age of 43, Jan returns to the World Championship in Kona. Twelve years after retiring, he breaks Lars Jorgensen's 23-year-old swimming record in 46:29.
